The Chief Justice of the US Supreme Court may hold President Trump in contempt and the president may ignore it.

That is the state of the “Rule of Law” – a broad concept of how the USA is governed. Three branches of Government that are equal. Except when they are not.

Congress is not acting to moderate Trump’s extraordinary actions.

RFK is supposedly responsible for the nation’s health has suggested that Bird Flu run its course so all chickens are infected (so evolution can then select those with natural immunity). Scientists think this is a very bad idea. Because every infection is an opportunity for the virus to mutate. H5N1 does not infect easily spread between humans. RFK is one mutation away from potentially killing millions.

Trump has negotiated with Putin that energy infrastructure should stop being attacked by both Russia and Ukraine and neither side has honoured the agreement.

The Rule of Law is broken. The US Constitution is next, unless Congress acts. And so far, it has done very little to enforce the Rule of Law.
